Jean Burton Walker grew up in New York City, Nashville, and Paris and now lives in New Jersey. Believing that all the arts are interactive, and each enriches the other, she says her life has been a synergy of the arts--theatre, music, and painting. But the theatre has always been her greatest love because, in her words, “it delves into the soul like no other art in its ceaseless effort to explain the human condition.”
She knew at seven, when she had the lead in her third grade play, that she wanted to be an actress, and has been pursuing the theatre ever since. At five she began piano lessons and today is an accomplished musician. Around the same time, she learned how to draw and, while her daughters were going up, she was with a major NYC Gallery, while working in summer theatre in the Catskills.
Today, she is a full time working actor and loves it all. |
